Cure For Genital Warts: Facts You Need to Know
Small flesh or gray-colored cauliflower-like bumps usually growing in the genital and anal areas, genital warts can indeed be a big problem especially if it has gone bigger in size and number.
It may start as a small, simple lesion but if not given with the right genital warts treatment, it may grow bigger and spread into other genital areas.
Genital warts, scientifically named as Condyloma acuminate is one of the common sexually transmitted diseases caused by the Human Papillomavirus or HPV. People aging from 17-33 are mostly to have this sexually transmitted genital.
It is highly contagious, with almost 66% risk of acquiring the infection even if the sexual contact is done once whether through anal, oral or vaginal intercourse. Good thing, there are several genital warts cures to stop further complications.

In women, female genital warts may grow inside and outside the uterus, vagina, around the anus and the cervix. In men, genital warts may develop on the penis shaft, scrotum or around the anus area.

Causes of genital warts, especially female genital warts, are caused by low risk human papillomavirus (HPV) although high-risk HPVs can cause cancer of the vagina, cervix, anus or throat.
Symptoms caused by Low-risk types are not easily detected that is why some carriers may not be aware of it. Hence; there is also a high risk of spreading it. Because of this, it is best to have regular check-ups especially if one is sexually active. In case the tests show positive results, better look for the right cure for genital warts.
Aside from sexual contact, there is also the possibility of transmitting genital warts infection to babies who will pass through an infected birth canal. The warts may develop either in the mouth or throat areas.

Another method used in freezing warts is by injecting with Interferon.
It is an anti-viral medication that must be applied directly onto the warts. However, these treatments may not actually stop the growth of warts in other areas since HPV are usually found inside the body. On the other hand, burning can also be done using laser treatments or electrocautery done by burning and sealing the warts with electrically charged probes.
Chemical solutions for genital warts treatment and genital herpes relief may include 25 percent Podophyllin solution applied directly to the affected areas and later on washed after a few hours.
However, this treatment is not applicable for pregnant women since it may cause birth defects. For bigger warts that have spread out in other areas, laser surgery is done especially if the infection didn’t respond to other treatments. In some cases, there are also creams that can be applied on the affected areas although it may be good only for smaller warts.
Either way, there is no better cure than being faithful to one partner and staying away from several sexual relations.
